Shelf rhythm when storms skew weekend crews

Bangkok’s afternoon storms do not politely wait for planograms. When weekend crews shrink, the shelf rhythm wobbles: visits stack up, photos look inconsistent, and distributors hear five versions of the truth. We start by freezing the assumption log—who owns each lane, which stores are “must visit,” and which can slide to Tuesday without harming the allocation plan.

In the second beat, we rebuild a ladder of visits that respects motorbike safety and store manager moods. That means shorter bursts, paired reps in tricky malls, and explicit notes for cold chain SKUs that cannot sit in traffic. We also rename escalations so they read like operational fixes, not finger-pointing.

Finally, we publish a one-page branch handoff addendum so night-shift teams know which bays were skipped and why. The goal is modest: keep reporting honest, keep people safe, and avoid fake urgency language while still moving work forward.
